Certification QA Lead | North America | Canada | Europe | Fully Remote2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsWhat we are looking for:Escape Velocity is looking for a Certification QA Lead to oversee and drive feature testing efforts for a multiplatform game.

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining central test cases, ensuring compliance with platform requirements, and providing development support to streamline certification processes. What we will do together:Oversee certification testing for different platforms (PS5, Xbox One, and mobile) ensuring adherence to the different platform standardsWrite, edit, and execute test cases to validate compliance with required standards and guidelinesProvide development support by guiding teams on platform requirements, pointing developers to specific documentationAssist with 1st Party Submission, including formulation of waivers and exception requests, challenging incorrectly reported submission must-fix bugs, negotiating with 1st parties on conditional must-fixes, and supporting title configuration on 1st party portals in development and retail environmentsManage bug databases, ensuring accurate logging, tracking, and resolution of issuesConduct thorough bug finding, writing, and reviewing, maintaining high standards for issue documentationTrain and mentor Certification Testers, ensuring team members are aligned with best practices in certification testingPrepare status reports and end-of-project reports to communicate progress to stakeholdersEscalate critical issues affecting project timelines or quality to leadershipEnsure alignment on certification standards and project milestonesWhat you will bring:Proven experience in certification testing across multiple platforms (Playstation, Xbox, PC, mobile)Experience with live service gamesProficiency in Jira or similar bug tracking and project management softwareExceptional verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated leadership experience, including collaborating with and managing external QA teams to ensure quality standards and timelines are metFamiliarity with UE5 is a strong plusBenefits:Escape Velocity is a team of passionate, talented developers working at a studio that offers excellent benefits and what we believe is a fantastic project.
