We are looking for a Chargeback Specialist/Analyst to join our Customer Operations department. You will be a financial investigator, and your primary task is to investigate disputed transactions to learn more about why disputes are occurring and how they can be resolved or prevented.
Responsibilities Determine which chargebacks to accept and which to fight. Prepare evidence for chargeback replies. Analyze account history and trends and take appropriate actions on accounts. Identify cases of fraud, interacting with the risk team. Contact merchants to collect as much evidence as possible to fight chargebacks. Respond to chargeback alerts accurately and in a timely manner while adhering to rules and regulations. Answer concerns from other departments regarding chargebacks. Must Have: At least 6+ months of experience in chargebacks or dispute processing. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Proven ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Able to perform well under pressure and capable of multitasking. Nice to have: Extra language knowledge (French or Spanish). Proactive mindset, with the ability to suggest improvements to processes and systems. Proficiency with basic computer applications, such as Google suite, Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
