**What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an ambitious Chef de Partie to help manage all aspects of the food offering for our restaurant.
You must be passionate about food, ingredients, seasonality and have the drive and ambitions to lead, recruit and train the team in the head chef's absence.
As Chef de Partie you will work closely with the head chef & sous chef to be the driving force behind the food offering making sure it is seasonal, relevant and appealing to our guests.
You will have an in-depth health and safety knowledge ensuring that standards are kept in line with HACCP.
We are looking for a person with a clear understanding of what it takes to run the kitchen in the head chefs absence and be an inspirational and knowledgeable leader to the brigade.
**Main Duties
A Chef de Partie runs a specific section in a kitchen.
The role is made up of many varying responsibilities including:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the speciality section
- Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
- Assisting with the management of health and safety
- Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
- Managing and training any Commis Chefs
- Monitoring portion and waste control
- Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
**Required Skills/Qualifications
- Have previous experience as a Chef de Partie
- Be passionate about delivering high quality amazing delicious food
- Be able to effectively manage, motivate and lead a team
- Have the ability to train, develop and enhance the skill level of the team
- Be a clear communicator and enjoy what you do
- Knowledge and ability to run a section
**Schedule**:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
**Requirements**:
- Ability to commute/relocate to Masseria Potenti, Puglia, Italy
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
- Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
- Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the masseria to the other.
Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
Contratto di lavoro: Tempo pieno
Retribuzione: €1. 200, 00 - €1. 700, 00 al mese
