Within the Global Supply Chain business (GSC), our dedicated teams are responsible for manufacturing and distributing medicines and vaccines worldwide. Act as point of contact for root cause analysis of material/product/processing/cleaning issues and rapid resolution. Where required using multiple sources of data and data interpretation methods. Take part in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities to highlight improvements to equipment and processes. Act as a point of contact for the top 3 waste and top 3 quality and for the technical issues collection and evaluation. Act both independently and in cross-functional teams to manage projects. Ensuring delivery of the operational technical responsibilities and project timelines. Plan and conduct/supervise manufacture of batches with minimal supervision. This is to ensure the project timescales are met and issues dealt with in real-time. Perform technical coaching of operators to ensure knowledge transfer to the 'manufacturing shop floor' allowing operators to improve their accountability and timeliness of issue resolution. Actively participate in projects to support technology transfer of biopharma products. Ensure that all project team members and the Project Leader are kept fully informed of progress and any technical issues. Ensure that input is based on the best/up to date information available on site and within the Company. Ensure that the Project Leader is advised of any resource issues such that the project is properly resourced and effectively executed. Ensure that the Project Leader is kept advised of any changes impacting on execution such that they can monitor and update progress against the project plan. What are we looking for? A mindset focused on continuous improvement and growth, along with strong interpersonal skills and a positive approach. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, coupled with a collaborative approach to teamwork. Self-motivation, proactiveness, and a strong eagerness for development and learning.
