Within Chief Technology Innovation Office (CTIO) corporate function, we are looking for a CHEMICAL PROCESS INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES SPECIALIST Saipem, through the Chief Technology Innovation Office (CTIO) corporate function, endeavors to participate in Innovation Projects, which are collaborative initiatives that aim to develop and implement novel technologies, processes and solutions for the energy transition and the circular economy. These projects involve multidisciplinary teams of experts from different fields and backgrounds, working together with external partners such as universities, research centres, start-ups and clients.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Join CTIO/PPTEC function in Saipem CORPORATE as Chemical Process Innovative Technologies Specialist with an initial assignment to the LOW CARBON FUELS, concerning technology innovation activities related to biofuels, e-fuels, waste-to-fuels, biomass management and all related technology pathways.
ACTIVITIES: A low carbon fuels technology analyst is a professional who supports the innovation and technology manager in identifying, assessing, developing, and implementing new and innovative technologies related to low carbon fuels. The main responsibilities and tasks of a low carbon fuels technology analyst are:
Supporting the reference technology panorama analysis, in coordination with the innovation and technology manager, to ensure the contribution to the group technology planning, based on the positioning of the technology in the reference market. Supporting the assigned team for innovation technology management according to department guidelines. Contributing to identifying and assessing new and innovative technologies related to low carbon fuels for potential commercialization, through technology scouting, assessment, scoring model and technology risks and opportunities analysis. Supporting the development of innovative proprietary technologies. Supporting the project execution to implement the innovative technologies. Supporting the innovation and technology manager for internal and external stakeholder management. Maintaining the knowledge of the latest developments in low carbon fuels technologies. Requirements/Qualifications: - Degree in Chemical Engineering/ Industrial Chemistry
- Proficient in English (B2 level or higher)
- Minimum 3/5 years of experience are required
Nice to Have: Experience in R&D activities, Development and/or Adoption of technologies in industrial projects, process knowledge of downstream plants.
Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high level of motivation and determination to achieve the assigned tasks.
Location: Italy (Milano/Fano)
Contract type: permanent, salary package commensurate with the level of experience.
