Chief Financial Officer
Chaberton Professionals, a division of Chaberton Partners, specializing in the Recruitment and Selection of Middle and Top Management profiles, is seeking an experienced and motivated Chief Financial Officer to join the finance team of our client, a leading industrial company and a key part of a German multinational group. With two production plants located in Italy, the company is committed to driving operational excellence, fostering innovation, and achieving sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and controlling financial activities in manufacturing or engineering companies and will be responsible for providing strategic support in financial planning and analysis. Key Responsibilities: Finance Supervise general accounting and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Monitor and analyze production costs, with a focus on budget control and cost optimization Develop financial reports and economic forecasts to support management decision-making Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations Continuously improve financial processes and reporting systems Coordinate with external auditors for financial audits Provide financial oversight of a company based in Tuscany and part of the group Support management in defining and implementing new strategic projects Provide strategic and operational leadership for the finance functions, including planning, budgeting, cash management, investment controlling, and risk management. Manage treasury operations, focusing on cash flow management, liquidity planning, and financial risk management, such as interest rate and currency exposure IT Strategically develop IT infrastructure in accord with Group strategy Collaborate with IT department to implement new processes and enhance existing processes and systems Procurement Oversee the strategic and operational aspects of procurement, including supplier negotiations and supply chain optimization Ensure that procurement processes align with cost, quality, and delivery targets Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related fields Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and financial control roles, preferably in manufacturing or automation companies. Proven leadership experience in senior management roles. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and Italian tax regulations In-depth knowledge of IFRS reporting (IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 9) and financial statement preparation Proven experience in Treasury management, including cash flow optimization and financial risk mitigation Advanced proficiency in ERP software and financial analysis/reporting tools Solid expertise in IT management and strategic procurement processes (optional) Leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and results-oriented mindset Seniority Level Mid-Senior level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Accounting/Auditing and Administrative Manufacturing J-18808-Ljbffr
