We're searching for a highly qualified Chief of Staff to work closely with our Leadership Team, directly reporting to the SVP & GM Italy and Greece. This person will bring a personal and immediate impact by streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, making recommendations, and driving change management aligned with the company's strategic vision.
The role of Chief of Staff will take an active role in contributing to the organization's success.
Objectives of this role Oversee strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution, working closely with senior leadership at local and global level. Manage M&A projects and drive the execution of complex projects, assisting in the implementation of change management strategies. Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation. Responsibilities General Business Management: Support the GM and the relevant senior leaders to drive the holistic acquisitions/partnerships strategy taking ownership of the full process, including participating in due diligence, understanding the strategic objectives, assessing risks and challenges. Serve as strategic partner to business leaders, cross-functional leads - managing program execution and mitigating cross-functional risks/issues - proactively identify and drive resolution of critical challenges by leveraging strong business acumen and integration expertise. Support the pillars to drive internal and external market gap analyses, ideate prioritized solutions, develop investment recommendations and associated business cases that align with the company's strategic vision. Effectively communicate project progress, issues, and goal achievement across senior leadership and project team audiences. Follow-up on action items, assigning them to the relevant Business Leaders and driving these new ideas to implementation in support of the Senior Leaders. Operations: Work to improve existing processes for maximum clarity, efficiency, and improvement. Support GM and Opex Director to assess, identify, and map all existing Operation Excellence opportunities, identifying synergies between projects and engaging with stakeholders (i. e. , business leaders / business managers) to ensure goals are aligned to Operation Excellence strategy and that projects are promoted, prioritized, and planned accordingly. Support the Leadership team in driving a culture of operational excellence and encourage change management. Track progress against key performance/success metrics that align with strategic goals of the organization. Skills & Experience 6+ years of experience, preferably within a consulting firm, including M&A projects, change management initiatives, organizational design, and development. Master's degree is required. Industry knowledge - Understanding of the nuances of the Pharma and Healthcare sector. Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills. Ability to build solid and open relationships among the organization. Ability to work independently. Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Blend of strategic mindset and hands-on approach - drafting a vision and executing it to the end. Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments. Experience supporting workshops, large meetings, or presentations to senior leaders. Ability to plan and lead strategic initiatives and execute a project plan, managing to deadlines and paying acute attention to detail. Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity. Nimble business mind, focused on developing creative solutions. Italian and English Fluency. Location: Milan (hybrid)
