Brain Technologies is searching for a skilled and proactive Chief System Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and governance of functional system projects within the Engineering Development (ED) department.

This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring compliance with technical and business objectives.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The candidate will be responsible for:Lead the planning and execution of system projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Monitor and report on project KPIs, including time, cost, and CAPEX attainment ("CP3" vs Initial Request). Manage the electrical/electronic Bill of Materials (BoM), ensuring efficient reuse of components and introduction of new variants. Implement Agile methodologies, including Kanban board and backlog management in Jira. Develop and manage project schedules using MS Project, integrating timelines for component testing, system validation, and product integration. Ensure alignment across ED and laboratories for seamless delivery of system-level outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system-level interfaces and requirements. Lead DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) efforts for system robustness. Support product launches by addressing variances (e. g. , NVR vs NPI) and troubleshooting functional issues. Maintain and update the catalog of functional systems in Jama. Develop and manage system specifications in alignment with product requirements. Technical Skills:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or Systems Engineering preferred) or a related field. 5+ years of experience in system project management and development within engineering, product development with high electronics content, or a related domain. Proven track record in managing cross-functional projects and delivering results within defined timelines and budgets. Proficiency in project management tools: MS Project, Jama, Jira, and Team Center. Advanced knowledge of diagnostic tools. Familiarity with IoT concepts, including serialization, provisioning, and OTA. Strong understanding of functional systems architecture and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) principles. Nice to Have Certifications:AI ML Project Management (CPMAI). Project Management Professional (PMP). INCOSE Certification in Systems Engineering. MITxPRO training in Systems Engineering.
