Job Description This is a remote position.

Polimex re-launching The Open Packaging Network 2. 0 focused on developing a B2B marketplace for global packaging industry and looking for experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who is passionate about building marketplaces and engineering teams from scratch.

Joining at an early stage, you will take an active role in shaping the technical strategy and culture of this business.

What you will do:

Setting company technical vision and leading the company's technological development Define and drive the technological vision for the company together with the CEO Shape, articulate, and execute the engineering strategy for the product delivery from launch to scale Make architecture decisions to ensure a strong, stable, and scalable product with our current tech stack:

DO, Solidity, Haskell, Python, PHP, SQL, noSQL, R, Javascript, and React Constantly evaluate technological advancements and innovative solutions to drive continuous product improvement Maintaining network and data security Scaling the resources on the platform in-line with the product roadmap Using technology to create higher-value features for end-users Act as a central stakeholder in negotiations with partners and third parties on platform integrations Manage and implement integrations with 3rd-party technology platforms Build a strong and attractive Engineering culture while working with a flexible, agile and iterative approach Recruit, lead, and scale a team of high-performing Software Developers Requirements What we look in you:

Significant experience in software architecture and building marketplaces from early-stage through to scaling and maturity Background in Engineering leadership positions, growing, leading, and scaling high-performing Technical teams with a code-quality mindset Experience working in an early-stage B2B Marketplace start-up Deep understanding of Agile development methodologies Experience working with third-party integrations Experience of resource management systems such as booking or inventory management platforms Direct involvement with multi-sidedmarketplaces First-hand experience with DO, Solidity, Haskell, Python, PHP, SQL, noSQL, R, Javascript, and React would be ideal, (or an equivalent tech stack) Good understanding of product management and ability to work closely across multiple functions and technical disciplines Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders through clear and concise written and verbal communication Able to hire, develop, mentor, and lead technology staff In-depth understanding of the packaging industry Benefits What we offer to you:
