Inorder to reinforce our local Sales and Services Division we havethe exciting opportunity to have a bright and talented TechnicalService Chemist Jr. to join our technical office in Cusago, Milan. POSITION OVERVIEW The Technical Service Chemist Jr. , workingalongside the office manager, will have to provide technicalproduct information to our Customers.

In addition, you will workclosely with our Sales Representatives ensuring they have an up todate and thorough understanding of NCH Europe products whilst alsoassisting in the optimization of the NCH product portfolio. RESPONSIBILITIES The Technical Service Chemist Jr. is responsiblefor:

Technical Support to Sales - Assist Sales in the introductionof new products by providing all the required technicalinformation;

- Assist Sales and Customers in solving problems byproviding the appropriate technical support;

- Participate andattend Sales seminars/meetings;

- Train Sales as to products andtechnical knowledge through technical seminars or notes;

- AssistSales on any special projects of a technical nature such as wateranalysis, field testing etc;

- Makefield visits to Customers withSales when necessary to provide technical credibility;

- Follow upon all complaints of a technical nature from Customers and helpSales to solve the problem.

Safety and Environmental Protection -Assist in fulfilment of local EHS obligations;

- Follow up onquality complaints and help to solve the problem.

TechnicalResearch - Research the market and recommend the introduction ofnew products;

- Evaluate the possible new products/demos to beintroduced and furnish the technical data when required;

- Developnew Demo.

Legal Assistance - Assist in the registration ofproducts, raw material, equipment, container, packaging and otherlegal activities by providing the necessary technical support; -Ensure the Company complies with local and federal regulations fromthe technical stand point and report of any failure;

- Ensure thatlabels are translated accurately, that labelling complies with thecountry regulation and draft labels are supplied to the printer onschedule.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS Knowledge Familiarity withlubrication methods and use of various types and grades of oils andgreases.

Familiarity with chemistry-related local/Europeanlegislation.

Skills Strong communication skills and ability tomanage change.

Technical mentality, interpersonal skills, timemanagement.

Good Microsoft Office Skills in particular Excel andPowerPoint.

Education/Qualifications Degree in Chemistry orChemical Technology PhD in Chemistry welcomed Few years experiencein technical support, chemical industry, chemicals sales and/orR&D would be a plus.
