Take the chance to work for the Organization in charge of delivering one of the biggest and most prestigious events in the sports field Feel the Olympic and Paralympic energy by joining us at Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, leaving a mark in sports history BREAK THE ICE Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion, and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2, 300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22, 000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina, and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. Position: We are looking for a City Operations Coordinator for the Veneto Region. The identified resource will be responsible for: Managing relationships and operational links with dozens of External Delivery Partners in charge of specific activities mapped in the City Operations Programme in Verona and Cortina, together with the Cortina CTY Coordinator, in connection with the Veneto Region; Supporting the development of an overarching Master Schedule for all planned activities and ensuring constant monitoring to promptly detect any delays or issues; Ensuring a highly successful City Integration function at all competition/non-competition venues and participating in exercises across all stakeholders to understand their journeys outside and inside the venues; Liaising with External Delivery Partners to ensure their financial planning accurately covers all financial needs to develop the services under their responsibility; Escalating to senior management and the Internal Governance structure (GSPLO; Exco; Directors' Meetings) in case of issues and decisions; Cooperating strictly with the Mico2026 FAs representative to approach local entities to solve potential issues; Realizing, through team building with venue FAs impacted and the Cortina CTY Coordinator, the Venue Approach Operating Plan for the Competition and Non-Competition Venues of the Veneto Cluster; Cooperating closely with the Operational Readiness FA to integrate operational planning methods/approaches (including readiness and test events) with External Delivery Partners. Requirements: Project Management experience in major events; Good knowledge and understanding of the services/activities that should be delivered by External Partners; Ability to plan, manage, drive, monitor, and report on different cluster working tables with internal FAs and local stakeholder representatives; Good knowledge of Smartsheet and SharePoint tools; Previous experience in relations with public/local authorities would be an asset to help perform the above duties; Residence in the cluster area; Positive attitude in negotiating with External Partners, creating an environment that encourages cooperation.
