Client Manager - Private Equity & M&A Insurance Solutions
Description: Marsh is currently seeking candidates to join our Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions (PEMA) team as a Client Manager!What can you expect? The successful candidate will join our high performing PEMA team in Italy advising investment funds and corporates on M&A insurance solutions, risk and insurance due diligence, infrastructure advisory and portfolio solutions. We will count on you to:Contribute to the growth of the Marsh Specialty and PEMA brand within the Italian marketProvide ongoing strategic advice to clients on the use of transactional risk and transaction advisory solutions in M&A deals to enable commercial objectives to be achieved;Manage, develop, nurture & expand relationships with the private equity community in Italy, contributing to expand Marsh traditional business for GPs and their portfolio companies;Coordinate services provided by other practices within Marsh;Act as a liaison to overseas PEMA professionals across the globe;Respond to RFPs focused on Advisory and M&A deals;Project Marsh's principles externally and internally, and be an ambassador for Marsh by creating thought leadership and by hosting/chairing industry events. Assume a critical project management role, coordinating various work streams and advisors. Strive to deliver best practice, market-leading service and solutions for all clients. What you need to have:Academic background in Economics, Law or related field;Strong commercial acumen;Ideally 5 to 15 previous years of professional experience working with private equity clients;Knowledge of due diligence process and warranties and indemnities insurance as well as familiarity with transaction documents such as sale and purchase agreements will be an added advantage. What makes you stand out:Negotiating and influencing skills with excellent communication skills (verbal and written);Strong knowledge of the M&A deal process and motivation to a growth mindset. Prior M&A, Advisory and warranties and indemnities experienceProven experience of managing & advising a portfolio of clients.
