Posizione

- Desk analyst (DA) position within the Financing Products (FP) trading team based in Milan, focusing on equity and credit securities and collateral.

- As a member of the FP team, the DA's responsibility will be to support trading and risk management of all relevant product offerings of the business including:

- Securities Financing Transactions for both institutional and corporate clients, such as securities lending and borrowing, repo and reverse repo, in both flow and structured form

- Listed and OTC equity derivatives transactions including: Exchange For Physicals, Total Return Swaps, Index Futures, Total Return Futures, Forwards, Dividend Swaps and Dividend Futures (over a variety of reference securities including single stocks, custom baskets, sectors and indices)

- Risk management and other analytical tools to support trading portfolio, as well as analytical tools to find new market opportunities

- Support and develop trading, life cycle and inventory management processes

- In addition to be being fully embedded into the trading team, the DA will work in close partnership with a variety of internal stakeholders, including competence functions such as Operations, Collateral Management, Market and Credit Risk, Product Control among others, in order to meet business objectives and satisfy the business control requirements of the bank.

- The DA will be expected to develop in VBA/Python both new and improve existing trading and desk tools.

Additionally, the DA will work with systems developers and business development teams to identify and implement new business requirements for primary trading systems.

- Subject to performance, the DA role / internship could lead into full time, junior trader role.

Requisiti

- Master's degree in relevant field of study - finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, etc.

- Strong extracurricular qualifications, skills and interests

- Strong analytical, numeracy and problem-solving skills

- Programming proficiency (VBA, Python)

- Ability to communicate effectively.

Fluent English language skills mandatory.
