Offer DescriptionThe Italian law 30/12/2023 n. 213 obliges companies, with the exception of those in the agricultural sector, to take out insurance coverage against natural disasters and catastrophic events by 2024.

The consequent complex risk management activity, which is necessary for a correct identification and assessment of risks and to ensure an adequate insurance cover, can be challenging for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

These companies are the main form of production organization in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

The aim of the project is to build one or more simplified models for the identification, evaluation and management of catastrophic risks.

These models will allow SMEs to obtain an insurance cover that is adequate to the type and extent of such risks and to the characteristics of the sector and the area to which they belong.

The project also wants to make a contribution to the growth of risk culture and awareness among entrepreneurs.
