Clinical Application Specialist

The Clinical Application Specialist is a professional (technical) consultant on equipment to the surgeon, who provides demonstration of DORC equipment to the surgeons in OR as well as provides technical service to all DORC equipment.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Installation of the surgical equipment at the site
- Train the end-users on DORC products and its usage
- Stay up to date with new instruments and disposables
- Stay up to date with new surgical techniques
- Report results of installation / demonstration / training
- Report possible sales leads to the National Sales ManagerReport complaints to the National Sales Manager
- Report technical defects to the National Sales Manager
- Report activities of competition to the National Sales Manager
- Installation of hardware, backup systems, software, including overnight deliveries when required
- (Carry out preventive maintenance and calibration procedures)
- Coordinate field visits with Area Sales Managers and the Regional Sales Manager
- Make use of skills to promote and introduce new DORC products to existing and new clients
- Attendance of trade fair meetings if needed
- CRM regular usage for planning and reporting
- Technical support and field repair of all DORC machines, solving first line defects
- Attend intercompany training events, meetings.
- Keep a continuous schedule visiting the users of DORC equipment, with the goal of upselling other DORC products, as well as increase the volume of usage of DORC equipment (Farming)
- Provide feedback to DORC HQ on the quality and possible improvements to the Company portfolio
- Share knowledge and support other Application Specialists as well as other employees of the Company, with the possibility to travel abroad to support other teams.
- Organise clinical visits and have presentations of DORC solutions.

**Qualifications**:
- Eye surgery experience/nurse/basic knowledge, (Technical degree, preferable bio
- medical engineer);
- 3-5 years direct experience and knowledge of mechanics & technical issues or strong ambition to learn eye surgery technical solutions
Fluent in written and spoken local language as well as English.
