IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, is looking for Data Manager to join the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Department.

Our department performs clinical and translational research in different clinical settings and targeting different organ protection.

The best way to improve care and understand the efficacy of interventions is through the design of pragmatic trials which do not interfere with standard of care treatments and procedures.

Our studies focus on patients undergoing cardiac or non-cardiac surgery, as well as patients treated in intensive care units (ICU), general wards and in the emergency room.

With more than 400 publications in international peer-reviewed journals over the three years period 2019-2021, our department is the most prolific group in the field of anaesthesia and intensive care in Italy; it has already acted as leader of large networks of intensive care unit departments for the realization of multicentre randomized studies, published in high level scientific journals.

**Main activities**:

Patients screening, patients enrolment, CRF compilation, management of follow-up visits;

She/he will prepare and/or review all trial-related documents in collaboration with other team members and support submission to Health Authorities and Institutional Review Boards/Ethics Committees;

The successful collaborator will prepare Investigator meeting material;

Facilitate meetings for the specific trial protocol and relevant study related processes;

Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress; Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs.

Fluent in written and spoken Italian;

Full level in written and spoken English;

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;

Effective time management and organization skill and meticulous attention to detail;

**Technical skills**: These are the hard skills required through training, such as proficiency with Microsoft Office.

**Type of contract**: Temporary position - Co. co. co;

**Duration**: 6 months, possibility of contract renewal;

**Place of work**: This is a full-time office-based position.
