Our passionate team of professionals provides a variety of high-quality inpatient and outpatient services including academic, tertiary, and quaternary care, as well as continuing care, primary health care, public health, and mental health and addictions. The Clinical Dietitian, as a Medical Nutrition Specialist, is a member of the interdisciplinary health professional team responsible for the nutrition care and education of patients.

The Clinical Dietitian initiates a cost-effective medical nutrition therapy care process comprised of patient assessment, the development of patient-centered, goal-focused care plans, implementation and evaluation of the plans, and ongoing monitoring.

Nutrition care plans are outcome-focused, incorporate evidence-based practice, and emphasize health promotion and disease prevention.
