These are the guiding principles that form the ethos of Inari Medical. The Clinical Education Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring consistent high-quality therapy implementation and superior patient outcomes using INARI technology.
VTE is INARI's focus and the company is committed to ensuring patients gain access to optimal treatments for DVT and PE and other venous diseases.
This position requires up to 80% travel to support customers and distributors throughout the assigned geography, reporting directly to the Distributor Director EMEA and working closely with the Medical Education Manager.
The Specialist will provide expert clinical case support, develop and deliver comprehensive training programs, and collaborate with research and clinical trial experts to advance our therapy solutions. Scope and Responsibilities:Clinical and Therapy Expertise:Serve as the primary therapy and technical expert for customers and distributor employees. Provide certification and re-certification training for physicians and distributors. Offer clinical case support both on-site and remote for complex cases and newly starting distributors. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance on best practices. Grow and support regular accounts to become independent (not needing clinical support during cases). Collaborate with the EMEA marketing team to identify and address clinical challenges, as well as disseminate the latest clinical trial results and other initiatives. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and PE pathway discussions to contribute to therapy development. Oversee and maintain records of all cases, adverse events (AEs), other relevant documentation and pathway building progress, adhering to the highest quality standards. Provide regular reports and keep impeccable records within an agreed framework. Training and Education:Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for customers and distributor employees, covering product knowledge, therapy techniques, and best practices. Facilitate in-person and remote training sessions, including hands-on demonstrations and simulations. Create and maintain training materials, such as manuals, presentations, and online resources. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement. Event Management:Organize and coordinate medical education events, including MTEs, peer-to-peer events, and local congress attendance. Manage logistics, speaker coordination, and participant registration. Relevant Skills and Experience:Strong clinical knowledge and experience preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours. Strong organizational and project management skills. Experience in training and education. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Pre-Requisites/Job Experience:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e. g. , healthcare, science, engineering). Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales, medical education or technical support role. Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred. Additional Considerations:This position requires a high level of autonomy and decision-making. The ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure is essential.
