As a Clinical Field Service Engineer, you will support clinical customers from the very start of their journey with us, no two days are the same!

So, what do our Clinical Field Service Engineers do?
Below are some of the key responsibilities: Install clinical and forensic Waters LC and LC/MS systems. Setup clinical applications on the newly installed systems. Connect the systems to LIMS. Analyze and review system and scientific data to determine the source of problems and recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective actions. Coordinate problem resolution with our matrix teams to help expedite repairs and deliver customer satisfaction. Manage customer expectations by communicating work performed and providing follow-up plans if required. Build strong rapport and trusted advisor partnerships with our customer base to provide them with suitable advice and support on Waters products and services – always looking for potential opportunities as to how Waters can further advance their laboratory operations. Report directly to the EU Clinical Support team. To help achieve the above, you will get the best possible training, be supported by a fantastic EU Clinical Support team, and embark on a continuous learning and development pathway.
Who are we looking for? We ask that you are interested in science, problem-solving, service, and people! You could have a laboratory, analytical, chemistry, or service background. It's important that you are flexible and enjoy variety in your role as well as being able to build trusted relationships with our customers. Experience with our hardware and software solutions (Xevo TQ systems, ACQUITY UPLC systems, MassLynx and Empower software) and knowledge about toxicology and diagnostics applications (TDM, newborn screening, endocrinology) is a plus.
