Overview The Clinical Pharmacist ensures the Pharmacy provides optimal clinical services daily.
He/she assists the Pharmacy Director in providing efficient, quality pharmaceutical care for patients through the lifecycle and functions using the framework of the organization's policies and procedures.
EDUCATION REQUIREDGraduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy
EDUCATION PREFERREDDoctor of Pharmacy degree
LICENSURES OR CERTIFICATIONS REQUIREDCurrently licensed to practice Pharmacy in the State of Georgia
LICENSURES OR CERTIFICATIONS PREFERREDNone
EXPERIENCE REQUIREDExperience in Hospital Pharmacy
EXPERIENCE PREFERREDCompletion of an ASHP accredited residency.
Comparable clinical pharmacy experience may substitute for a Doctoral degree or ASHP accredited residency.
