Cloud Business Development Manager
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for
**a Business Development** role with main focus on
**Microsoft Cloud business**. The person will be responsible for translating
**vendor/technology growth plans** internally and to drive them in specific strategic segments, in alignment with marketing on MDF (Market Development Funds) and with the wider sales organisation on specialised opportunities
**RESPONSABILITIES
- Grow profitable market share by executing the **Cloud Business Unit strategy** under clear managerial direction;.
- Leverage relationship to drive new business in **Microsoft CSP with focus on IaaS and PaaS portfolio (Azure)**:
- Drive conversations on TD SYNNEX marketplace (StreamOne Ion) to be able to integrate TD SYNNEX invoices with Partners' ERPs
- Propose TD SYNNEX **Services and Training portfolio** to drive CSP business
- ** Negotiation** of key and large deals with broad knowledge of the industry's best practices, techniques and standards.
- ** Optimizes results** by driving sales out of agreed vendor portfolio including new vendor identification, on-boarding and other initiatives
- Ownership of **quarterly vendor business planning** and execution
- Selling propositions that protects **Margin integrity**:
- Enable and help the sales teams to win and grow **share of wallet and market share**:
- Long term relationship and engagement with vendors and stakeholders to ensure TD SYNNEX is seen as the **"Trusted Advisor"**:
- Ensure ongoing use of CRM tools to ensure best in class business continuity
- Full knowledge of assigned **Vendor's product / service line**:
- Develops **tailored customer value propositions** with a clear understanding of customer business requirements
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience in the **IT industry with channel and/or vendor** at a business development level.
- Previous experiences with hyperscalers (AWS, Google and Microsoft) will be evaluated as a priority.
- ** English professional proficiency is a MUST. **:
- Good emotional intelligence, Influence and persuasion skills.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Self-management, High energy and motivation
- Skilled **multi-level relationship builder**:
- Strong orientation towards and experience in services and **solution selling**:
- Strategic planning, **business case development** with strong operational cadence
- Experience of working within a matrix structure
