Cloud DevOps Engineer Sky Italia, the first Italian media company and the European leader in entertainment, is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join the IT Digital Channels Platform team.

A Cloud DevOps Engineer is a Cloud Expert responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools in the cloud that support the DevOps culture and practices within the organization.

You will be a reference expert, responsible for creating and maintaining cloud infrastructure and platforms for Sky Digital Channels Products (AWS and Azure).

You will be part of a team focused on ensuring Sky products operate at their best by emphasizing process automation, monitoring, and optimization of the infrastructure and services alongside software development engineers.

Key Responsibilities: Managing infrastructure from design/validation to implementation with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Designing and building automation frameworks (CI/CD, DevSecOps, Test Automation).

Designing and managing monitoring and logging tools.

Mentoring DevOps culture within the software center.

Participating fully in establishing and driving organizational processes/initiatives, including the adoption of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Asset & Configuration, Continuity, Security, Financial, etc. ).

Requirements: Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles, practices, and tools (e. g. , Terraform, CloudFormation).

Strong proficiency in designing, validating, and implementing Cloud solutions (AWS/Azure).

Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principles, practices, and tools (e. g. , Jenkins).

Working knowledge of containers and orchestration (e. g. , Docker, Kubernetes).

Strong understanding and working knowledge of Cloud networking and security patterns.

Experience with code versioning systems such as Git, CI/CD frameworks, and scripting languages (Bash, Python, TypeScript).

Experience in monitoring platforms (i. e. , ELK, Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus).

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with immediate team members, other IT areas, and clients in other departments.

Ability to identify operational issues, support, and provide real-time solutions, making appropriate decisions.

On-call rotation experience.

Professional knowledge of the English language, written and spoken.

Soft Skills: Self-organized, team player, proactive personality.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.

Bonus: Experience with Kubernetes and GitOps workflow.
