Cloud Devops Engineer - Platform Engineering & Operations
CompuGroup Medical is seeking an ambitious and proactive Cloud DevOps Engineer to join us and to help drive our ambitious technology plans.
We are looking for someone really passionate about Cloud and DevOps topics, loving to manage software in a cloud-native self-managed platform.
You WillManage our software and infrastructure release roll-out. Enhance and support a build framework for deploying applications. Support and work alongside Agile development teams to ensure they have all the facilities to get the job done. Drive best technology and software development practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm. Establish and run the processes for ongoing maintenance, monitoring support, and security patching of a platform. Ensure continuous improvement within the team. Advocate and modernize the services (performance, availability, OLA/SLA, etc.
). Improve infrastructure development and application development. Keep yourself up to date by attending main conferences, as well as workshops and in-house training. You HaveExperience with code versioning systems such as Git and CI/CD frameworks and scripting languages (preferably GitLab-CI). Good knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm. Strong attention to detail and astute diagnostic skills. Experience in the usage of automation/configuration management platforms (Ansible, Terraform, etc.
). Experience in DevOps activities. Knowledge of relational databases administration and tuning (preferably Postgres Database). Proficiency in Python, GoLang, and Shell scripting. Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with immediate team members, other IT areas, and clients in other departments. Windows/Linux server operating system administration and performance tuning. Ability to identify operational issues, support, and provide real-time solutions for them making appropriate decisions. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, from common features to data security solutions. Soft Skills:Self-organized, team player, proactive personality. Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
