Global leader in the production of ticketing solutions is looking for a Cloud Engineer in Rome, responsible for managing the local cloud environments, collaborating closely with IT, Software and Product teams from design and documentation to monitoring and support, and collaborating with global service to identify and implement enhancements or improvements as technologies, standards, and practices evolve. Responsibilities:Maintain technical expertise in AWS and Oracle cloud and related technologiesDevelop, implement, and support secure solutions in accordance with practices, participating in all aspects of the software development lifecycleMonitor the cloud environment for efficient operation, enhancing and improving as neededIdentify, analyse, and resolve infrastructure or configuration vulnerabilitiesTroubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document solutions, and implement preventive measuresOwn backup, restoration, and recovery/failover processesConduct regular reviews of cloud environments for monthly/quarterly audits, making recommendations for improvements, and participating in Security Risk AssessmentsSuggest improvements for existing cloud infrastructure, and lead any modernization efforts that may be requiredDemonstrate problem-solving skills, with an ability to see and resolve issues before they impact productivityCategoria: Transport DistributionLuogo di lavoro: RomaRequisiti:Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field of study, or equivalent in education and work experience. Cloud certifications strongly preferred (Solutions Architect, Advanced Networking, Security)1+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or comparable, bearing responsibility for a production environmentDemonstrable experience setting up, configuring, and maintaining VPCs and associated networking infrastructureExperience working with and managing Windows and Linux server operating systems in a production environmentExperience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, etc)Good communication and documentation skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft.
