Salary range: €58. 000-€70. 000 Benefits Job Type: Full-Time Location: Remote in Spain What You'll Be Doing As a Cloud Engineer specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you will take a hands-on approach to designing, developing, and deploying innovative cloud solutions. Your primary focus will be on technical implementation, but you will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the solutions you build align seamlessly with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Design and Develop GCP Solutions: Create and implement bespoke cloud solutions tailored to address specific client challenges and requirements. Leverage GCP Data Services: Apply solid expertise in Google Cloud data services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc to build effective and efficient data pipelines. Optimize Performance: Use tools like Python, Git, Terraform, and Docker to enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of applications and infrastructure. Implement DevOps Best Practices: Integrate DevOps methodologies to streamline CI/CD pipelines, improve deployment processes, and establish robust monitoring frameworks. Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with consultants, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure technical implementations align with strategic business goals. Stay Current with Technology: Continuously update your knowledge on the latest Google Cloud advancements, industry trends, and best practices to deliver state-of-the-art solutions. What We're Looking For Proven Expertise in GCP: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, deploying, and managing scalable and reliable Google Cloud architectures. Comprehensive GCP Knowledge: Proficiency with core Google Cloud services, including BigQuery, Firestore, DataForm, Cloud Composer, Google Data Flow, and Google Cloud Run. Governance and Security Expertise: Strong understanding of governance models, security best practices, and policies specific to GCP environments. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with automation tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager for managing infrastructure. CI/CD Experience: Familiarity with CI/CD tools on GCP, such as Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, or integrations with third-party systems. Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, preferably Python. Database Expertise: Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases for handling diverse data requirements. Growth Mindset: A coachable attitude with a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic tech environment. Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills, enabling seamless interaction with diverse teams and stakeholders.
