We're headquartered in Milan, Italy, where you'll find most of our employees, but the teams you'll work with are across Europe and the UK.

You will be the Kubernetes expert inside a team of 5 cloud engineers; your role is key to ensuring the existing clusters in MotorK are well managed.

You will also drive future improvements and implement best practices related to Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies in MotorK.

Things you will do:Increase the efficiency of our software development lifecycle thanks to best practices and infrastructure improvementsBuild and provide tools to increase developer experienceImprove and scale our cloud infrastructure, ensuring governance, cost, and security are under controlDevelop and improve platform monitoring strategiesPerform capacity management and load testingProvide cloud infrastructure support for the entire Research & Development departmentTechnologies you might work with include:Cloud: AWS, GCPWeb: Nginx, CloudflareRequirements Strong hands-on production experience with Kubernetes, at least 3 yearsExperience with at least one Cloud Provider, preferably AWS. Good to have Understanding of SRE and DevOps practicesExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform)Knowledge of CI/CDRelevant experience with RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL), troubleshooting, and optimizationBackground in Linux environments as AdministratorExperience in scripting (Bash, Python)Practical knowledge of networking, both cloud and bare-metalGood knowledge of monitoring and log collection tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki)Experience with PHP or Java on Kubernetes is a plusExperience with OSS CMS (WordPress, Joomla. . . ) is a plus
