Next G Cloud is seeking a talented and motivated Cloud Security Solutions Architect to join our growing team. As a cloud managed services provider to enterprise clients, we specialize in building, deploying, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure. You will be inserted in a growing team of talented professionals and will have the possibility to work with globally-recognized business leaders, also in an international environment! Your role will be to develop new solutions, and optimize hybrid cloud solutions for our clients and local/international partners, leveraging cutting-edge technologies across multiple cloud platforms. There will be also the opportunity to engage in collaborative projects, in international environment. The position is mainly based in Turin or Milan (Italy), but flexible hybrid work and smart working solutions are possible.

Responsibilities

Design and implement hybrid cloud security architectures for edge and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the protection of enterprise data.

Perform risk assessments and gap analyses to identify security vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructures.

Implement and manage security technologies, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and monitoring tools.

Work closely with cloud engineers, DevOps, and IT teams to integrate security solutions into development and deployment process.

Provide guidance on regulatory compliance, including GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC2, and ensure adherence to security standards.

Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security threats, tools, and best practices, and lead continuous improvement efforts.

Take part to collaborative EU/national projects and/or industrial standards (e. G. ETSI, GSMA, CAMARA) and regulation (e. G. CRA).

Your Profile

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

5+ years of experience in cloud security architecture and engineering, preferably also in testing and compliance activities.

Deep understanding of security best practices in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Experience with with RESTful APIs, application protocols, security frameworks (e. G. , NIST, CIS, ISO) and compliance requirements.

Proficiency with security tools such as firewalls, encryption, IAM, SIEM, and vulnerability management.

Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and cloud-native security technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Information Security or related field. Also, project management experience (possibly PMP certification).

Certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer.

Hands-on experience with automation tools (e. G. , Terraform, Ansible), container security (Docker, K8S) and Linux Kernel (e. G. eBPF).

Experience in collaborative EU/national projects and/or industrial standards (e. G. ETSI, GSMA, CAMARA) and regulation (e. G. CRA).

Experience with cloud incident response and forensics. Familiarity with Zero Trust security models and micro-segmentation.
