The Global Information Technology (IT) Department of Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is actively working on rationalizing and streamlining the diverse technological landscape within the Group.

**Cloud Solution Architect**:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, the global leader in maritime shipping, and play a key role in supporting MSC's strategy for digitalisation and business growth.

As a Cloud Solution Architect you will be part of MSC's Enterprise Data Hub team, an agile and global team delivering an interconnected data platform to serve business users, products, and data science across business domains.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Research and develop high level and detailed solution designs

- Monitor technical deliverables against the designs

- Contribute to technical Change Requests

- Implement and monitor solutions against requirements

- Design principles and patterns taking into consideration existing principles and patterns

Core Competencies

- Has recently designed services that reside on Cloud (experience with Azure will be a bonus)

- Has the ability to work in and has strong knowledge of agile development and modern CD/CI approaches

- Understands how security design is integrated into the solution design

- Delivery - designing, delivering platforms and managed services at enterprise scale, particularly in streaming and cloud-native solutions

- Data - solving enterprise data and analytics problems using technology

- Cloud - hands-on experience in both 'services' and 'how' to work in the cloud such as DevOps-centric approach

- Security - having worked in sensitive data environments and ensuring a secure platform at all times
