**Reports**: Managing Director

**Key Responsibilities**:

Coordinates, control and manages the activities in the Gear cell; has direct responsibility for its employees.

Managing the activities of the department

Managing and plan the production in coordination with the planner, check the progress of the orders.

Managing the productivity and the efficiency of the machines involve in the Gear Cell.

Monitoring the production phases in SAP.

Managing the machines and taking care about the maintenance.

Managing human resources, assigning shifts, agreeing holidays and permits

Responsible for monitoring the environment, health and safety in the Gear Cell department, reporting any anomalies to the QEHS Manager.

Rising and Study new opportunity of manufacturing to improve the productivity and the efficiency.

Follow up the necessary 5S inspection and perform EHS cross audits for continuous improvements.

**Required profile**:

Mechanical Engineering degree/diploma essential

Previous experience within a similar position in another company in the same sector

CNC machine experience as an operator in one of the following processes, lathe, grinding, hobbing or milling.

Experience and knowledge of CAM software is a distinct advantage.

Fluent in Italian with strong English (B1 level)
