We are looking for an experienced Business Controller to join the global Team of Controllers for the Cranes Unit, consisting of 7 colleagues based in various global locations: Italy (2), the Netherlands (1), Brazil (2), and Asia (2). You will be reporting directly to the Global Controller Cranes who is currently based in Italy. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious finance individual who would like to act as a true financial business partner providing high-quality advice to and supporting decision-making by management of the regions and support functions in the Cranes Unit.
You will play an important role in driving and impacting performance by providing transparent financial insights in the following topics:
Financial Performance and KPI Achievement: Achieve financial targets and KPIs by acting as a business partner through reporting key metrics and advising on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions. Finance business support for the country management team in achieving targets in sales, profitability, and working capital. Cashflow Management: Secure an optimized overall cash-flow and optimization of the working capital. Support the commercial team on business decision and opportunity identification, and improve transparency to better achieve business targets. Main characteristics of the role: Review and analyze actual financial performance for the assigned country/product range. Prepare forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans based on business outlook and planned activities for the country/product range. Performance management to meet financial objectives. Provide and analyze financial information to guide decision-making and set strategy for the assigned country/product range. Evaluate business cases for the assigned country/product range. Internal control: act as the 2nd line of defense for internal control and general compliance. Support and implement ad hoc projects, including Regional and Global initiatives. Drive the country investment proposal process supported by financial analysis.
