**Position Summary
- Overall responsibility for commercial performance, strategic development and operational management of all commercial activities.
- Be the responsible person for all country related commercial business matters including:
- the successful achievement of sales targets
- management of all related activities in marketing
- collaboration with all other relevant, stakeholders and support functions.
- Ensure appropriate market positioning of the Amicus product portfolio.
- Effectively lead and develop the commercial organisation
- Build and maintain relationships with national key opinion leaders, payors, and relevant stakeholders
**Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop the customer facing field team including recruitment, training, coaching and performance management
- Responsible for development and implementation of the local brand plan for commercialised medicines
- Continuous tracking and analysis of national and regional sales development, market share and competitor performance
- Responsible for developing the Incentive plan for KAM territories
- Ensure operational effectiveness of the customer facing team (CRM, Customer engagement, account plans) - conducting regular reviews
- Planning, tracking and controlling of national and territory budgets for commercial projects and customer related activities
- Ensure a high level of product, therapeutic area and competitor knowledge of the commercial team
- Ensure compliance with all company regulations, and ensure customer facing team are all qualified and trained based on company standard
- Provide strong leadership, direction and development in line with Amicus behaviours to ensure employees are engaged, able to excel in their performance and ultimately fulfil their potential.
- Actively and positively promote the profile of Amicus, ensuring productive and legally appropriate relations with customers and other appropriate external partners.
- Work effectively and in partnership other relevant international functions (e. g.
global Marketing, Finance, HR, etc.
)
- Own customer contacts regarding defined KOLs and stakeholders
- Coordinate and supervise all service providers, liaise with international Supply Chain department
- Member of the Amicus Country leadership team
**Requirements**:
**Educational Requirements & Professional work experience
- Relevant period experience and a track record of success in a Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology sales positions in country of responsibility
- Solid experience in working with rare diseases or speciality care products and demonstrates a good understanding of the science behind the product
- 3 years solid and successful experience in pharmaceutical marketing
- Comprehensive understanding of the local rules and regulations of the pharma market in the country of responsibility.
Experience and Skills
- Proven ability to think strategically and have demonstrated focus on delivering action and implementation programmes to maintain MAH oversight and control.
- Hands-on mentality, autonomous working style, self-starter
- Understands the requirements, and demonstrates the capability, of working in a start-up environment where the individual's input counts
- Ability to influence the organisation to implement new Policies, Procedures and Programmes.
