Main Purpose of the job We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Commercial Finance Analyst to join our finance team based in Milan.

This role is key in providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, drive sales performance management, and act as a co-pilot for specific business areas.

The successful candidate will work closely as part of a cross-functional team to drive long term value creation (Sales & Marketing, R&D, Operations) with global exposure (and across global customers).

This role is ideal for a finance professional with up to 5 years of experience, eager to learn and develop within a fast-paced and commercially driven environment over the next three years.

Main responsibilities and duties 1) Decision Support • Perform monthly sales closing and reporting • Provide financial analysis and insights to support the business in making data-driven decisions 2) Sales Controlling • Partner with the sales team to track and analyse revenue performance, sales trends, and customer profitability • Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to ensure accuracy in financial planning (Quarterly Business Reviews) • Implement and enhance sales reporting tools to improve transparency and decision-making 3) Business Co-Pilot • Act as a strategic partner to the commercial team by reviewing and recommending pricing strategies for new business opportunities • Commercial evaluation of new product development / geographical expansion • Provide financial support in contract negotiations and business case development • Proactively identify risks and opportunities to drive business performance and sustainable growth • Monitor & control the Sales & Marketing budget (Actuals vs Budget vs Latest Estimate) Key Competencies / Qualifications /Skills • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis, commercial finance, or a similar role.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

• Proficiency in financial modelling, Excel, and data visualization tools (e. g.

Power BI).

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent in English.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong business acumen with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
