About the Role We now have an exciting Commercial Finance Business Partner opportunity for our Off Trade Channel in Italy.
You will be part of an exciting and growing business responsible for the end-to-end channel performance.
In this role, you'll be leading key business processes including Business Performance Management and Annual Operating Planning and as a trusted senior business partner, providing sound commercial and analytical support to the commercial team and senior key stakeholders.
You will be expected to identify value-enhancing opportunities through stepping out of purely "financial" agenda and add genuine commercial insight.
Drive Performance: Drive understanding and focus on performance, by orchestrating the strategic planning process and best view forecasting process for the business unit.
Take a leadership role within the channel alongside the Sales Director to drive the overall customer and commercial strategy within the team.
Drive holistic price/mix and gross margin improvements.
Be guardian of the sustainability of the market share.
Accountability for great basics in cash management – driving OWC improvement through accurate forecasting, compliance with payment terms policy & receivables collection field and overdue resolution.
Hold others to account to deliver their commitments.
Improve finance capability throughout Commercial Teams: Development and presentation of financial tools, techniques, and information that aid and improve day-to-day decisions.
Improving Forecasting: advising on the impact of poor forecasts, giving tips and guidance, explaining how forecasting links in with Opps & Risks process.
A desire to seek learning opportunities to enhance commercial understanding is essential in performance of the above objectives.
Data analysis and Reporting: Use of insightful analysis to identify business opportunities, addressing them with the commercial team.
Stock in Trade analysis and reporting, and holding sales teams accountable to manage the business within the Commercial Policy of a sell-out driven business.
Customer negotiations.
Take over cross-country accountabilities and projects.
About you You have about 5+ years of experience in Finance roles.
Business Partner experience is a strong plus.
You have sophisticated Excel skills, MicroStrategy (or similar), Power BI system knowledge.
You have commercial experience or commercial acumen, while you 're famous for your strong relationship building and influencing skills.
You're comfortable with complexity and when working within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
You're proficient in Italian and English.
