Commercial HVAC EstimatorQuality Service Company, LLC is a locally owned and operated HVAC company.
Chris McDonald started Quality Service Company in 2003 after working with other local HVAC companies for around 10 years.
In 2011, Chuck Polk joined in partnership with Chris.
Chuck had been working in the HVAC industry for over two decades with local HVAC companies, then as a Trane employee, and then owning his own business.
The two merged their companies together under the name, Quality Service Company, LLC. Our Mission Statement is, "Through great employees, we will continue to grow our trusted name by delivering exceptional service through honesty and integrity. "

Position Summary: Estimate commercial projects and plan, coordinate, execute, maintain & manage an effective field construction organization utilizing the necessary labor, equipment, materials, tools, subcontractors and other resources to effectively perform the scope of work within an allotted budget and time schedule. )Commercial HVAC experienceExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft ProjectExcellent communication skills, oral and writtenExcellent organizational skillsPrimary Job Duties:Review the scope and transition the project from Estimating to Operations. Create a Submittal book of the materials and fixtures that will be used on the assigned project. Coordinate with the office to ensure preliminary notices have been sent, insurance certificates have been sent to the General Contractor, Job Book has been completed, and plans have been printed for the Superintendent and/or the Foreman. Submit RFIs and change orders to the General Contractor. Conduct site visits to oversee project advancement. Support drafters in developing construction drawings. Generate Purchase Orders & Buy-Outs to purchase materials. Oversee costs of labor, equipment, and material to ensure the project stays within budget and meets quality standards. Develop and monitor schedules for plumbing projects. Manage and coordinate material and equipment purchases. Schedule dates for site walk-throughs, installations, and decommissioning. Verify approvals for client financing and schedule document signings. Identify and secure required permits, licenses, and procedures prior to commencement of work. Schedule permit inspections.
Prepare submittals, closeouts, and purchase orders. Additional Requirements:Must pass pre-employment background screens. Minimum 3-5 years in project management. Mechanical Engineering Degree. Ability to read blueprints. Excellent communication skills, friendly personality, and great client service skills. Capable of making quick, thoughtful decisions and staying organized. Ability to work in an environment with interruptions and interact with diverse situations and people. A self-starter able to prioritize needs with confidence based on the deadlines and activities within their scope of work. Advanced computer skills (proficiency with MS Word, Outlook & Excel). Experience with estimating software like Trimble, Bluebeam, ProCore, or related software. Experience in HVAC, plumbing, or construction trade is a plus.
