Commercial Manager, Gps (English)
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, Science, Economics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience leading agreement consultation and management or experience in an executive sales role in a technology company.
- Ability to speak and write English and fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with bespoke and non-standard customer contracting documents.
- Familiarity with European public procurement processes, rules and structures (e. g. , invitations to tender, RFPs, framework agreements, dynamic purchasing systems, call-off contracts etc.
)
- Knowledge of financial modeling, commercial Customer Relationship Manager (CRM), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Ability to clearly present analytical findings used to influence internal and external leadership.
- Ability to speak and write in Spanish, French, German, and/or Italian fluently.

As a Commercial Manager for Google Cloud Global Business Practices, you will serve as a strategic business partner to internal teams, accelerating agreement closure timelines while mitigating commercial and agreement risk across all Google Cloud products.
You will combine market knowledge with tech industry savvy to discuss cost-effective solutions that support Google Cloud's growth in the government sector.
You will ensure customers' needs are addressed while minimizing Google risk and operational impact, and will build and maintain relationships with sales teams, internal cross-functional teams, and customer consultants.

**Responsibilities**:
- Partner with teams early in the business cycle to drive tender responses, proposal development, risk analyses and preparation of contracting documents.
- Engage directly with government customers to lead commercial and agreement consultations, understand tendering and procurement processes and rules, handle objections, socialize customer requests with internal stakeholders and coordinate approvals.
- Build productive relationships and feedback loops with teams to accelerate agreements, drive continuous process improvement, attend forecast calls, staff meetings and business reviews to keep apprised of priorities.
- Introduce prospective customers to cloud concepts, norms and industry standards.
Draft term sheets, order forms and contracting addenda, and provide customer-facing analysis demonstrating value of the Google solution.
- Collaborate with other Global Business Practices team members and other internal teams to ensure product fulfillment, and escalation, mitigation and documentation of approvals.
