The commercial manager will be responsible for growing a profitable flexibility portfolio, while meeting with the following challenges: development of day-to-day operation, execution of the short

- and mid-term activities related to wholesale, power system balancing and capacity markets.

**Job Description**:

- Primary responsibilities:

- Development of local portfolio management activities including hiring, execution, optimization strategy and project development to deliver value from the portfolio,

- Ownership of commercial operations including the execution of short to mid-term (1-3 years) commercial strategy in alignment with parent/independent organization objectives,

- Management of internal and external relationships and contractual obligations,

- Ensures regulatory and network code compliances, including REMIT compliance activities

- Developing detailed work plans, schedules, procedures and controlling functions

- Providing analytical overview to senior management

- Supplementary responsibilities:

- Assessment of market trends, regulatory changes to find market opportunities,

- Identifying new business opportunities for various asset (BESS, Power-to-X) development activities

**Qualifications**:

- 5-7 years experience of power generation portfolio management in Italy,

- Solid understanding of Italian power sector, regulations, power generation (CCGTs, CHPs or net zero) assets and ancillary services market,

- Good understanding of the sector trends, landscape and relevant stakeholders,

- Economics or engineering degree,

- Excellent analytical skills,

- Fluent English and Italian - any additional European language advantageous (verbal and written),

- Highly proficient user of Microsoft Office,

- Excellent organizational skills are required to build strong, sustainable and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels,

- Good communicational and organizational skills to manage the local portfolio management activities with a team.
