Commercial Services Director Italy
Reporting to the VP MD Italy, the Commercial Services Director, Italy will work in close collaboration with the Country Divisional and Functional leaders, using their market and local knowledge to develop and implement through facilitation and coordination, the Italian business strategy specifically related to cross-divisional opportunities in significant and strategic accounts.
Lead the Italian, Commercial Services Team setting and ensuring delivery of objectives to drive growth and profitability across the whole Stryker Italy portfolio.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Lead, develop and execute high value, strategy capabilities across the Stryker cross divisional franchises for Italy in-line with local Franchise Director / General Manager strategy per franchise, aligned to European and Global over arching strategy.
Lead and manage the commercial services team; delivering commercial excellence in tender & contract management.
Lead customer engagement, stakeholder management at C-Suite level and strategic alliance partnership development to ensure cross divisional market access
Accelerate market share gain across the Region.
Identify key points on the customers strategic agenda.
Understand customer needs as they may be affected, prioritize as they relate to Stryker's business, and utilize internal relationships to deliver solutions.
Be responsible for positioning both the Stryker product and service offering to ensure growth of total business, driving healthcare economic solutions.
Be the interface with the target customer group leading to greater customer understanding, greater customer intimacy, improved contact management and operational effectiveness.
Product and service pricing - Provide analytical, strategic and financial evaluation of pricing strategies including management Regional and Group tenders and contracts with Sales and internal stakeholders, support provision of innovative pricing solutions.
Review market research, analysis and producing business plans/recommendations to ensure that all business development opportunities (new products, services and markets) are optimised within the healthcare landscape.
Network internally with Regional Leadership teams; franchise leaders, key franchise stakeholders, RSMs, franchise BSMs to maximize the one Stryker, collaboration and drive
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify anddevelop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators to position Stryker as the #1 solution.
Maintaining an awareness of external factors (including competitors, government business initiatives, current and proposed legislation in relation to commercial activities) which impact the business.
Strives to continuously adopt or improve tools and systems for effective commercial services support to the divisions.
Oversees Contract Monitoring program and evaluate the ROI of the on going cross-deals.
This function will continuously work in strict collaboration with T&Q department
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor's degree and an MBA/Business Masters is desirable
Proven track record in a commercial management/leadership position in a multinational medical technology company.
Minimum of 10 Years relevant experience including at least 5 years within Med Tech
Expertise in the Italian healthcare landscape
Demonstrated experience in building and executing strong commercial/ strategic business programmes,
Experience of leading high performing commercial services team an advantage.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills; strong cross-functional influencing skills; plus the ability to relate well to colleagues & customers from varied divisions, markets & cultures
