WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
- The right behaviour to sell actively and help customers to buy.
- Strong Interdipendent leadership to have a hungry lion approach to delivery challenging targets through a close connection both with Customer Experience and City Commercial Team Leaders
- Sales steering and how to work with layout as a commercial tool, store media and display techniques.
- Sales location management and range management.
- Understand life at home and competition in the local market and the outcome of market research.
- Understanding and active use of the manuals and global tools and solutions.
- Analytical and numerical skills including follow up.
- Understand trends that influence home furnishing and retailing.
- Understand the Quality home to home process (products and services) and prioritise on cause/effect relations.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
We're looking for two resources, one Commercial Team Leader for the Core Areas and One for Accessorise.
The main responsibilities are guaranteed by customer satisfaction, used and put into practice Sales Steering, selling according to the IKEA Way.
Constantly fun, convenient and successful shopping and purchasing experience, which brings all the increase in sales and long-term sustainable profitability.
Act with leadership by developing business and people.
Optimize the sales and profit of the different departments through follow up, analysis and supporting actions.
- Contribute to guarantee department in shape as new and fully and efficiently stocked with the four merchandising basics daily in place and that the IKEA product range inspires and satisfies customers.
- Ensure your team has all the correct knowledge about the product range and the IKEA services to improve customers overall shopping experience (active selling approach).
- Understand the IKEA multichannels approach and know how to use this in a commercial way for different customers.
- Take responsibility for your department goals and ensures the country priorities for your HFB are implemented.
You follow up and take action accordingly also by using proven solutions and good examples.
In order to grow the business, use the layout as a commercial tool as well as the range presentation and vitality initiatives, to maximise sales and long-term profitability.
- You keep an active eye on the competition and take appropriate action when necessary which you communicate to your partner both in the City and in Service Office.
- You develop your team and its individual members and ensure you have a succession in place.
- You actively promote the IKEA environmental commitment for sustainable life at home.
- Have a proactive approach for home to home quality and related cost prevention.
- To contribute on gathering and translating knowledge of people's needs and dreams in the local market into relevant and inspiring, unique IKEA range presentation solutions that support a convenient shopping experience.
