PURPOSE OF ROLE
The Comminution Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring that Weir Minerals maximises comminution original and aftermarket product sales and increases the business in Scandinavian region (Finland, Sweden, Norway, Baltics, Iceland and Greenland). This position will be working closely with the Regional/Territory Sales Manager(s), service and sales teams on comminution business objectives. The Comminution Sales Manager will support existing customers and acquire and develop new customer contacts. Tasks are carried out following Weir SHE standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with sales teams and support identified market opportunities and potential customers and develop these relationships to deliver on sales objectives.
- Support Marketing planning and execution in the comminution product segment. Such as Expos, success stories, newsletters, campaigns and sales material.
- Grow the comminution equipment sales by site specific solutions, reseller networks etc.
- Exploring new markets such as Sand & Aggregate market opportunities to expand sales in products.
- Be an active part of the Weir Mineral Europe comminution sales team, to share and support with technical knowhow and sales capabilities, where needed.
- Support Brown Field Optimization strategic growth, and other sales team members with comminution product know-how.
- Timely response to customer requests, engineering and process operation support and project execution for Weir Mineral Division Products (preparing of tenders and service proposals, maximising margins etc. )
- Set prices, negotiate and sign contracts according to Weir principals.
- Report sales activities and market situation forecasting according to WM reporting schedule.
- Prepare and dispatch quotations and to monitor outstanding quotations. On acceptance/rejection process the update accordingly to ensure all opportunities are optimized and up to date. (Salesforce)
JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in relevant sales
- Practical Experience with SAP
- High level of computer literacy in MS office ; Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Excellent communication skills and effective organizational skills
- Languages: Finnish, English and Swedish (desirable)
- Ability to liaise with all levels within the company and external providers
- Target driven with proven track record of achieving objectives
