A Commis Chef at Rose Des VentsAs Commis Chef you will work alongside expert chefs in crafting exquisite seafood dishes and advancing your skills in a world-class kitchen.

Success in this role will be determined by your ability to support the kitchen's efficiency and safety without compromising the quality of the meals produced. Your day to dayAssist senior chefs in food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring high standards of presentation and taste. Maintain cleanliness and organization in your workstation, adhering to all hygiene and safety regulations. Support the kitchen team in maintaining efficiency during high-pressure service periodAssesses inventory and requests resupply when necessaryPlates meal items under the chef de partie's supervisionAssist with receiving deliveries, unpacking ingredients, and properly storing themEnsure that all kitchen equipment and tools are handled correctly, maintained properly, and cleaned after useWho are you? Previous experience as a Commis Chef, Kitchen Assistant, or similar role is preferred, but not essentialBasic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques, particularly within Italian or Mediterranean cuisine, is an advantageAbility to follow instructions accurately and efficiently, paying attention to detail in every taskA strong team player with good communication skills and the ability to work well with othersFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the restaurant's scheduleWhy us?
