Commissioning Engineer
Job Title:Commissioning and Aftersales Engineer Position Summary: The Commissioning and Aftersales Engineer is responsible for performing commissioning and aftersales support for energy storage systems (ESS) and auxiliary equipment.
This role involves a mix of remote and on-site work, ensuring high-quality service delivery, customer satisfaction, and successful project completion.
You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues, conduct training, and contribute to continuous product improvement. Key Responsibilities: Commissioning: Develop and execute commissioning plans for ESS and auxiliary systems.
Coordinate and perform site acceptance tests and troubleshooting during commissioning phases.
Monitor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
Aftersales Support: Provide remote and occasional on-site support for maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs.
Process warranty claims, including technical assessments and coordination with relevant teams.
Act as a liaison between customers and technical teams to address post-installation concerns.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed service reports, inspection records, and warranty documentation.
Maintain an updated database of spare parts and service expenses.
Training and Collaboration: Deliver technical training to customers and service partners to ensure proper system operation.
Collaborate with the RD and engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve product design.
Customer Relations: Communicate effectively with clients to manage expectations and deliver exceptional service.
Support the sales team by providing technical insights for project tenders and service proposals. Skills and Experience Required: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in commissioning, maintenance, or technical service roles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to complete multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel occasionally for site inspections or commissioning activities.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in utility-scale or commercial ESS projects.
Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with remote monitoring tools and data analysis.
