Commissioning Engineer for Gas / Steam-Turbines About the Role: Location: Italy, Milano Company: Siemens Energy Organization: Gas Services Business Unit Service Europe & Africa Full / Part time: Full-time Experience Level: Mid-level Professional We'd love to hear from you in English if you want to be considered for this recruiting process How You'll Make an Impact: Perform commissioning of turbines starting from single component to the full system (Turbine and auxiliaries) according to specifications and engineering documents, including functional tests and logic interlocks verification and reports.
Perform fact-finding activities on turbine components during service outages.
Compile records to document condition of equipment and assure quality, provides required documentation and reports in accordance with procedures.
Prepare and complete tests to prove operational readiness.
As a Commissioning Engineer (f/m/d), you will independently service power plant components (gas and steam turbine generator sets) worldwide.
Carry out troubleshooting, analyzing customer problems, collaborating closely with Engineering and implementing remedial measures.

What You Bring: Bachelor/ Master of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical and Process), with a minimum of 3 years work experience in the relevant field of work.
Detailed understanding of technical equipment and ability to work with user documentation.
Knowledge of general power plant technology.
Experience in power plant operations and maintenance.
Excellent knowledge of technical English is required, knowledge of German would be a plus.
Strong analytical skills with an affinity to technology and innovation combined with a proactive and convincing attitude.
Phenomenal teammate with high level of resilience, multitask and focus on problem solving in a sophisticated environment collaborating with international teams.
High degree of flexibility, unrestricted mobility, good communication skills in relation to foreign countries and cultures.
Willing to extensively travel internationally on short notice and work flexible hours.
