Commissioning Manager – Commercial Construction – Hyper-scale Data Centre Projects – Milan – 12-Month Contract

This role represents a great opportunity for an experienced Commissioning Manager to secure their next contract role. Our client is a well-established Engineering Consultancy with offices across Europe and this project based in Milan. They have enjoyed continued growth for many years. As a result, this company has an urgent requirement for a Commissioning Manager to join their team on a 12-month contract to successfully commission a Data Centre project.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of project commissioning execution plans

Check all standard commissioning procedures for accuracy and completeness

Leading the preparation, maintenance and progress monitoring of commissioning schedule

Ensure that target dates for construction completion are in line with the commissioning schedule

Clarification and maintenance of interfaces between different systems / disciplines during commissioning

Enforce and ensure the Company's EHS Policy during commissioning

Provide technical and field support to the commissioning staff

Ownership of all commissioning documentation and recordings

Coordination of system acceptance activities with subcontractors and the client's operations team

Requirements:

7+ years experience in commissioning or installation of technical systems, incl. process, utilities, process automation, building services and electrical/mechanical

Degree qualified in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Exposure on technical projects (E. g. Data Centre, Pharma, Substation)

Independent and service-oriented way of working as well as teamwork and communication skills

Ability to speak Italian would be a bonus
