Adecco Consultants research for a strongly acknowledged General Contractor operating in the Data Centres sector a figure ofCommissioning ManagerPurposeTo be the engineer responsible for supervising and co-ordinating the successful commissioning of the CSA services. Responsibilitiesco-ordinate closely with our consultants, the client's commissioning team and facilitate the handover of services from sub-contractor to clientco-ordinate the preparation of commissioning documentation from the various subcontractors, check it for adequacy and issue to the client.

At completion of the commissioning process ensure that all necessary documentation and test information is issued to the clientbe able to establish from the overarching project programme the milestones required to ensure successful progression and completion of the commissioning and communicate those clearly to the package contractors in suitable format to make certain of finishing on timethe commissioning process including arrangements, timings, records, etcensure that all project safety requirements are met and adhered topursue and obtain QA documentation thus ensuring successful close out of all contract QA requirements for the packagesbe immediate point of contact for subcontractor site managementbe involved with the project decision making processhelp and support his package and project team memberskeep accurate and adequate records to ensure that the Company is protected in any future discussionsensure that on site instructions from client's authorised personnel are being recorded and managedthat he is able to conclude the packages to Company / the client's satisfaction including snaggingall the requirements of the Company proceduresRequirementsEssentialable to demonstrate that he/she has worked in a similar capacity on successful projects of a similar size and complexitycandidate if selected should be able to provide up to date references in support of his CV and other achievementsis stressed that the foregoing does not represent a complete list of responsibilities and that you may be required to carry out other duties which might reasonably be expected by Managementall recording tools and data to keep an accurate position of the project programmeinformation required for Client and other meetings to be available 48 hrs before the meetingup to date with current Health & Safety legislationis expected that the manager will be computer literate in all the Microsoft Office suitesHighly Desirable (but not essential)Own Transport & Driving Licence
