About the Role We are looking for an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Commissioning Technician to join our team in Milan on a 6–9 month contract.

This role involves the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical and mechanical systems across various projects.

You will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure systems are correctly configured and perform to specification.

We're also open to speaking with candidates currently based in Ireland who are open to relocating to Milan at their own expense for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities Commission, test, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems on-site. Ensure installations are completed in compliance with relevant standards and specifications. Coordinate and oversee the testing and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance. Provide support during the start-up and handover phase of new systems. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions. Maintain detailed documentation of commissioning activities and issue reports as required. Work closely with engineers to ensure smooth project execution and delivery. Conduct on-site training for operational staff and provide guidance on system operation and maintenance. Ensure health and safety standards are maintained during all commissioning processes. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as an Electrical/Mechanical Commissioning Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and their commissioning procedures. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical and mechanical systems. Proficiency in using commissioning tools and software. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a team environment and liaise effectively with project managers and engineers. Flexibility to work on-site and potentially on a shift basis. Relevant qualifications in electrical, mechanical, or related fields. Seniority levelAssociate
