**Job Summary**:
As a Commissions Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate calculation, reporting, and analysis of sales commissions. You will work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and HR teams to design and implement effective commission structures that align with company goals and drive performance. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
**Responsibilities**:
- Commission Calculation: Accurately calculate sales commissions based on established plans and policies, ensuring timely and error-free payments to the sales team.
- Data Analysis: Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in commission structures.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed commission reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Commission Statements: Produce and distribute monthly commission statements to sales representatives, detailing all pertinent transactions and ensuring transparency in payment calculations.
- Plan Design: Collaborate with sales and HR teams to design and refine commission plans that motivate and reward sales performance while aligning with company objectives.
- Compliance: Ensure all commission calculations and payments comply with internal policies and external regulations.
- System Management: Maintain and update commission tracking systems and tools, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, HR, and sales teams to address commission-related inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Accuracy: Ensure timely and precise commission payments by adhering to established timelines and protocols. Validate commission calculations through thorough verification processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies. Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to commission calculations and payments.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of commission structures and calculations.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline and improve commission processes and systems.
**Requirements**:
- Enrolled in L. 68/99 lists (CATEGORIES PROTECTED L. 68/99)
- 2+ years of experience in a commissions analyst or similar role, preferably in the software or technology industry.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with commission software and CRM systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data processing.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements related to commissions.
