WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Key responsability:

- Optimize global commodity strategy for assigned commodity.

- Adjust and optimize global supplier base.

- Support risk-, capacity

- and shortage management.

- Support and lead a team of local buyers.

- Negotiate global contracts and pricing.

- Identify and release new suppliers.

- Support benchmark activities.

- Supplier visits, conduct and accompany workshops, onsite audits, etc.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

**Skills**:

- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a global purchasing organisation with automotive or engineering background

- Good technical knowledge in productions processes

- Elastomer commodity knowledge is a plus

- Good PC- und SAP-knowledge

- Sophisticated purchasing, technical, commercial knowledge

- Leadership skills, team player

- High intercultural skills, strong communication

- Willingness to travel

- Negotiation skills and experience

- Business fluent English language knowledge

Educational Requirements:

- Degreed technical engineer
