Communication Specialist - Congress (Maternity
Under the supervision of the Communication Manager, the Communication Specialist oversees the creation and production of marketing, advertising, and sales promotional and public relations materials.
Supports highly visible projects, including both national and international tradeshows, website and all worldwide corporate branding initiatives and internal communications.
Primary contact for multiple external communications agencies and the media.
Key Accountabilities
- Participates in a range of writing and project management assignments to support the Marketing Communication Manager.
- Develops and updates timelines and status reports for all projects.
- Works with outside agencies for communication material and services.
- Assists in strategic development, product positioning and corporate messaging.
- Assess and provide input on stand layouts and prepare all the congress material in alignment with the brand identity for Italy and EEMEAI.
- Participates and gives support to cross functional projects.
- Administers the processing of invoices.
- Negotiates with the external providers the agreements for our participation in congresses and events (congress web page, promotional banners, booths etc ).
- Updates the company software related to its area of expertise (BrightCove, Transparency Tool, WerfenDocs, Werfen Academy, SharePoint Event Calendar).
- Manages the organization and promotion of Werfen events and trainings (digital, hybrid and in-person) within the predefined budget, following up on costs and authorization for Italy and EEMEAI.
- Manages the company participation as sponsor in Third-party events (ECM and not ECM) in compliance with ECM regulation and in accordance with the Transparency Law obligations.
- Stipulates the company Hotel Conventions and manages relations with Hotel Chains.
- Ensures compliance with Werfen Code of Ethics and CDM rules.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position
**Education**: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business communications or a related discipline.
**Experience**:Minimum 3 years of experience in business communications.
**Additional Skills/Knowledge**:
- Experience in project management
- Language: English
- Software knowledge: SAP, DEM, Microsoft Office Suite, CMS
