Purpose In alignment with the Country strategy and consistently with VH policies, the position will act as Communication Specialist. He/She:
Contributes to tailor VH communication strategy, guaranteeing an integrated internal and external approach. Disseminates VH main messages. Contributes to create an ethical and sustainable mindset and help creating an inclusive environment. Key Accountabilities In collaboration with appropriate VH functions, He/she:
Proposes, implements, and monitors the country action plan or any other initiative regarding Communication activities, particularly regarding Disease awareness Initiatives and Social Activities and Patients' and Communities' engagement initiatives. Adapts, accordingly to local rules and local management indications, VH-portfolio and above brand strategic messages. Gives advice to any activity related to programs on experience with VH-portfolio products. Accomplishes external communication activities (media relations, press office, social activities), as well as internal communication ones, networking with GSK teams. Network Is reporting hierarchically to Communications Lead. Interacts with the relevant structures/functions of VH Regional and Global teams as well as the GSK Group. Relates with external Societies and External Experts. Why You? Basic qualifications: Previous experience in communication field gained in the healthcare sector, especially in disease awareness initiatives and patient engagement projects. Social channels management and experience (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok), external network of related stakeholders and third parties. Experience in managing the dissemination of information about company products and above brand messages to appropriate media outlets via press releases and various communications channels. Managing key media communication vehicles including media events and/or internal events, desk side briefings, press conferences, webcasts and one-on-one interviews. Good skills in copywriting. Knowledge of ethical and governance aspects (related to external and internal rules), mainly linked with communications activities. Ability to work cross-functionally and managing different stakeholders. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Preferred qualifications: Experience in HIV, global health, health policy.
