**Communications Manager Italy (M/F/d)

You will closely cooperate with the RWE Corporate Communications team, in particular with regard to any media-related activities, and you will be supported by a local PR agency.

**Your main tasks**:

- Positioning RWE in Italy in the public towards RWE's key stakeholders from the Renewables business, media and the broader public

- Managing the local PR agency

- Preparing and maintaining the Italian renewables media and public relations strategy in collaboration with the RWE corporate communications team

- Active topic setting to support RWE's business activities in Italy for daily, trade and national news channels (press & online) as well as for the company's own social media channels

- Preparing press releases and reactive statements, answering press enquiries

- Planning, preparing and accompanying interviews with executive and other company experts in Italy

- Supporting global communications team in managing the social media presences including identifying and preparing content

- Design and creation of information material, such as animations, films, etc.

while using all communication channels

- Event planning and execution, such as trade fairs and conferences, incl.

drafting speeches and creating presentations

- Prepare executives and other public facing employees for public speaking engagements in Italy

- Media monitoring, provide issuance management and crisis communication

**Your profile**:

- University degree in the field of communication, political sciences, business administration or equivalent

- Several years of professional experience in communications - public relations, corporate communications, media relations or media role

- Basic technical understanding and technical affinity

- Excellent verbal and written communication in Italian (native level)

- Fluent in English, oral and written

- Profound understanding of integrated communication

- High resilience and self-motivation, flexibility and the ability to work in a team characterise your personality

- You are a self-starter, enthusiastic and flexible

- Knowledge of the energy sector, especially renewable energies, is an advantage
